Appointment length and purpose Your first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation (typically 90 minutes). During this visit the provider will review your medical and psychiatric history, current symptoms, medications, and reasons for seeking care so we can make a diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan.
Possible additional time or visits Some patients need extra time to complete the evaluation (for example, when prior records must be obtained, collateral interviews are needed, or the history is complex). If so, the provider may schedule an additional 30–60 minute visit to finish the assessment.
Records and collateral information: With your permission we may request prior medical or psychiatric records and speak with family members or other providers. Please bring a list of current medications, recent lab results (if available), and any relevant records to your appointment.
Decision to treat and next steps: By the end of the initial visit or within the first 1–2 follow‑ups, together with the clinician you will decide whether Neuro Nudge Psychiatry is the right fit and will agree on a treatment plan (therapy, medication, testing, and/or referral).
Services not provided in routine care Neuro Nudge Psychiatry does not provide forensic evaluations (e.g., custody evaluations, competency for court) as part of routine clinical care. If you need a forensic service, referrals will be provided.
